After pondering years of finally continuing by blogging career I
decided to put this one up. It is called the Stereo Impressions - and
that's what it's mostly about. Stereo systems and Hi-Fi. Maybe even some
multichannel treats, who knows?
Who am I to write
about this stuff? Although I'm only around my 30's I have been more and
less interested in Hi-Fi for ~10 years - reading online articles,
forums, magazines - you name it. During these years I have learned a
great deal of this fine field of interest, and also realized that the more you know, the more there is to learn! I was even hired by a local Hi-Fi store for a brief
moment during my student years.
Sure there are a lot
of people who know more than me and have been into this stuff a lifetime
longer than I have. But I do not claim to be the voice of truth. This
blog will simply be my thoughts of the things I find interesting. And I
want to share them with you! Now, I'm merely a mortal like most of us so
this blog's focus is on the lower-mid end of Hi-Fi - but who knows how it
will evolve.
As you may have realized by now I am not a
native English speaker (too early for puns?). I hail from the cold
capital of Finland, Helsinki. Just kidding. We do have warm summers.
Why English then? Let's just say that I wouldn't mind having readers from all around the globe!
